Cooking Inspiration

I can’t talk about food or inspiration without mentioning my sister. She is a cooking inspiration. She inspires me in so many ways outside of the kitchen but is one heck of a cook. She always has tricks up her sleeve and I learn so much from her! Each time I’ve had a baby she has come out to help. I get to enjoy her company, enjoy my babies, and am left with a full heart and stomach. She serves others by cooking for them. She brings people together. We talk, we laugh, all while enjoying her perfect, thought out, detailed meal. It really is a beautiful process to sit back and be apart of. When we do things for the right reasons and from the heart we have the opportunity to touch peoples lives. I am so grateful to call her my sister and more importantly my friend!

This quote does a much better job describing my sister.

“To laugh often and much;

to win the respect of

intelligent people and the

affection of children; to

earn the appreciation of

honest critics and to endure

the betrayal of false friends.

To appreciate beauty; to find

the best in others; to leave

the world a bit better whether

by a healthy child, a garden

patch, or a redeemed social

condition; to know that even

one life has breathed easier

because you have lived.

This is to have succeeded.”
